Raul is a general contractor in the Houston area, and works very hard to make a living for himself. He is one of the most determined people I have ever met, and has such a big heart to help others. A little over two months ago Raul had to have his leg amputated, due to stepping on a nail. He underwent around 15 surgeries, and had to do extensive recovery in order to be able to walk again. Today I am proud to announce Raul is up and walking with his new prosthetic! He is able to go back to work, and perform many of the activities he did before loosing his leg. Thank you to all of you who have donated to help Raul! He is so incredibly thankful for all of your efforts, and continues to tell me to thank you all for helping get him back on his feet.

One sweet memory I had with Raul was when he had his last fitting. We were all saying our goodbyes and as I prayed over everyone Raul prayed in Spanish. It was such an amazing moment for me to realize how Great our God is. We are all struggling in different ways, but we are called to surrender and give everything over to God. For he is bigger than any obstacle we face in this life!
